I have a great breadth of loan experience. I’ve helped seniors improve their cash flow and lifestyle through the benefits of reverse mortgages. I take particular joy in helping seniors enjoy the full bounty of their assets in their retirement and get them the retirement experience they have earned and deserve.
I’ve helped many first time homebuyers realize a dream come true with home ownership.
I’ve been a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator and Real Estate Salesperson since 2015.
After 4 years as the CMO for South Bay Equity Lending, I launched John Mills Residential Mortgages in 2019. I’m now doing loan origination full time.
Prior to joining South Bay Equity Lending, I was a senior executive with the surf apparel manufacturer Quiksilver. I worked at the publicly traded (NYSE) Quiksilver for 24 years and held the title of Senior Vice President, leading the Quiksilver sales organization in North America.
I graduated with distinction from the University of Wisconsin earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a Marketing Major.
I’m a Board Member of the Wisconsin Alumni Association - Los Angeles Chapter. With 5800 graduates in the LA area, this position provides the opportunity to keep the local alumni connected with each other and to their great university, the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
I stay active with basketball, running, strength training, indoor bike, golf and tennis.
My family and I live in Palos Verdes Estates.
